New Season Apple Tart

Ingredients
Tart shell
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
½ cup butter, melted
Apple Filling
5 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced (try to keep apple slices together)
¼ cup brown sugar
1 lemon juiced
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Topping
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees on fan bake
Add the thinly sliced apples to a mixing bowl and add the brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Gently mix the ingredients. Set aside
To make the tart shell, add the tart shell ingredients to a bowl. Keep mixing until a dough forms. Add the dough to a 9-inch or 20cm tart tin with removable bottom. Press the tart shell firmly into the sides and bottom of the tin
Arrange the apples in the tart shell. Cover with honey and melted butter
Bake for 1 hour or until crust is golden. Slice and serve warm
