Persimmon Porridge

Persimmon Porridge

Ingredients
2 persimmon, quartered and thinly sliced
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups water
¼ cup milk
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Topping (optional)
Persimmon slices
Coconut chips
Cinnamon
Chia seeds
Walnuts
Dried cranberries
Method
Add oats and water to a saucepan over medium heat
Reduce to simmer and cook for around 5 minutes or until all the water is absorbed
Stir in the milk and honey/maple, add the persimmons
Serve the porridge into bowls and with additional persimmon slices and other toppings off choice. Best served warm
