Strawberry Trifles

Strawberry Trifles

Ingredients
4 cups strawberries, sliced
1 cup granola or muesli
2 cups plain yoghurt
¼ cup brown sugar
Handful mint leaves
Method
Heat a saucepan over medium heat and add 3 cups of the sliced strawberries and brown sugar
Cook for 10 minutes or until strawberries are soft and broken down. Stir occasionally and press down with a spoon. Once cooked, put aside to cool
Mix 4 tablespoons of the strawberry syrup to the plain yoghurt
To assemble the trifles, begin by spooning strawberry syrup to each glass. Layer with the strawberry yoghurt and then muesli
Place a layer of strawberries over the granola, top with strawberry yogurt and then a sprinkle of granola. Top with a sliced strawberry and mint leaves
