Tamarillo & Apple Crumble
Serves: 6

Cooking: 30 minutes
Ingredients
5 tamarillos
2 apples, peeled, cores removed & cubed
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup water
Crumble
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
50 grams butter, softened
½ cup shredded coconut
Method
Pre heat the oven to 180°C on fan bake
Scoop flesh out of the tamarillos and place into a saucepan with the apples, sugar, cinnamon and water. Heat and bring to a simmer. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, and then spoon into an ovenproof dish or individual dishes
In a medium bowl combine the crumble ingredients and mix with your hands until the butter is rubbed in
Place crumble mixture over the fruit. Bake for 30 minutes or until the crumble turns golden
Serve warm with low-fat ice cream or yoghurt
